For those wishing to know: written in the 1850's, it's brief, often
humourous, sketches of the leading London preachers of the day - many of
whom were personal friends of Ritchie. The introductory chapter on the
state of religion in London at the time is full of facts and figures, and
it's the second half of the book on the preachers themselves that's more
readable.

All the best,
David,
Sunny and warm England
