For those wishing to know: around 1870 the Rev. William Pepperell 
published a series of articles on each of the churches in the Kensington 
(West London) district.  Each included a visit to the church and it's a 
sort of "Guide to the Churches".  This book combines the articles with 
some extra essays, and quite a lot of fine drawings of the churches.  I'd 
particularly like to thank Kensington Library (Local Studies) who helped 
me a lot in transcribing this.
