For those wishing to know: A lecture for the Islington Protestant 
Institutue in 1848.  It's an analysis of why some religious practices 
appeal more than others.  Unlike the typical 'Roman Catholic bashing' of 
the time it also points out that the same practices are creeping into 
'Protestantism'.

Apologies for the timing on this one - I'm generally completing the works 
of Hoare and didn't expect the Pope to resign.
