For those wishing to know: Lowestoft, the most easterly town in England,
was in the 1840's (when this was written) starting to be a place for
tourism, and the local printer, Thomas Crowe, no doubt put together this
short guide for visitors to "cash into" the trade. Like most of the
guides of the period it reprints much antiquarian material, but also
includes a useful "walk around the town" - some items are still there
today.

All the best,
David,
England, cold and heavy rain due
