For those wishing to know: more or less what it says: it was written by 
Rix, the Beccles historian, in 1837.  I hadn't really intended to 
transcribe this back in 2014 but I'd run out of material to proof and this 
lay to hand.  It complements Ritchie's book on East Anglia.
