For those wishing to know: Temperance advocate James Ewing Ritchie went 
over to Ireland to see a model temperance town based on the Linen trade 
called Bessbrook, reporting what he saw etc.  The pamphlet might have been 
an expanded version of one of his articles in Christian World - he was the 
editor.
