For those wishing to know: James Simson had edited a book on Gipsies by 
Walter Simson and added a lot of material in which he made the somewhat 
startling claim that John Bunyan, author of Pilgrim's Progress etc. was a 
Gipsy.  Simson's book and claim were largely ignored and/or ridiculed and 
that brought forth, after around two decades, this pamphlet and a number 
of others (around half of each pamphlet being an advertisement for the 
original book).  James Simson lashes out at the world's leading Gipsy 
scholars (Groome and Leyland specifically), the world authority on Bunyan, 
Rev. John Brown, Encyclopedia Britannica etc.  I found it unconformtable 
and somewhat unhinged.
