For those wishing to know: although I've put J. Elsee as the author, the
book is anonymous and it's just he's the primary suspect to write it. The 
book deals with various land transactions, agreements etc. in Hainault 
Forest, near Epping Forest, near London from about 1818 to 1828.  Reading 
between the lines J. Elsee had uncovered various illegal business being 
done by the agents of the Commissioners of Woods and Forests, who then 
managed to entangle him in various legal schemes and by the end of the 
book he had lost almost four thousand pounds: a vast sum in those days.
