For those wishing to know: An undergraduate thesis by an American lady on 
the English poet John Clare.  I picked this as I had a weekend with the 
John Clare Society in October and needed to remind myself of the basics! 
Although Mildred makes a few errors (no doubt because she didn't live in 
England) it's an enjoyable read and a gentle introduction to Clare.
