For those wishing to know: John Church (1780-c1826?) was a very popular 
dissenting preacher in London, best known for the many scandals he 
appeared in, mainly involving young men.  This is one of his early 
published sermons from 1810.  Unlike many of his later productions this is 
more "sermonizing". Note Church was slandered during his life for his lack 
of education, and this is reflected in his spelling (which has been 
preserved), grammar, and general lack of logic.
