[Trdma-l] timber sale

Those of who have signed the petition protesting the Big Bend West #2 
timber sale should find it interesting that a legal notice is in 
today's (Sunday) News-Miner. The notice list all the sales in the 
area, the date of the sale and other pertinent items. Of particular 
interest is the part where protests and appeals are outlined. The 
last day for protests and appeals was March 30. I can find no earlier 
published legal notice, but we're missing a couple of days papers 
from the last week of March. If the first legal notice was published 
after ths cutoff, I think we have a good chance to stop the sale and 
thus access to the main east-west trail system in Two Rivers. Can 
someone look through the legals for the last week or so and see if 
the Big Bend West #2 sale is mentioned?
