[Trdma-l] Animal Shelter and Sleddogs on KUAC Radio

Hi folks,

 

Yesterday Libby Casey interviewed Matt Ruger (shelter manager) and Sandy
Limaschesky (lead tender) of the Fairbanks Animal Shelter, as well as Carol
Kleckner and me. It was about all the sleddogs left at the shelter in April
and the problems finding new homes for huskies. I don't know how it will all
edit out, but we had a nice discussion about a lot of the issues we are
dealing with in finding new homes for sleddogs.

 

It'll be on KUAC tomorrow morning (Friday, 20 April) at 6:36, 7:35 and 8:35
am ADT. If you're local, it's 89.9 FM or you can listen to the live KUAC
feed at http://www.kuac.org/. 

 

It may also get carried on Alaska News Nightly (airs at 6 pm ADT), but we're
not sure which evening it will air on.
