I offered to foster this dog more than a month ago. I still have room 
in my yard for her. Or, if somebody wanted to sponsor her adoption I 
suppose I could own her outright. (I seem to be pretty able to find 
other more suitable homes for those foster dogs that don't make my race 
team.) Seems a shame to kill her just because they don't like the 
person whose offering to foster...
