Hello,

Senator Joe Thomas and I will be holding a town hall meeting Wednesday, 
January 2nd, 2008. The meeting will be held at the Fairbanks North Star 
Borough Assembly Chambers and is open to the public.


We are holding the meeting to hear the public's concerns, questions and 
possible suggestions regarding the proposed Stampede Recreation Area. We 
believe that this proposed recreation area has the potential to be a 
fantastic location for users of all types from anywhere in the state and we 
want to make sure that the public is involved with the process from the
