[Trdma-l] TAXES

There is an article today in the News Miner describing options for sales taxes in the Fairbanks borough.  Just wanted to let all the lists know about this and think about what it will do to your dog mushing budget.  ALL food, equipement, vet care, etc. will be subject to this tax which they are talking is 5%.

I know what I spend on vet care, and expensive food every year and an extra 5% is quite a lot of money.

This versus how much a person will save on their property taxes doesn't even out at all....I will have even less money than I do now. 
I don't even think they are looking at any types of exceptions either.
