[Trdma-l] Fw: Alaska Airlines no longer accepting wire ties in lieu of bolts on shipping crates.

Apparently Alaska Airlines is no longer accepting crates fastened with locking wire ties in lieu of bolts for shipping live dogs. This became an issue for me yesterday. A musher in Dillingham shipped me three dogs via Alaska Air, and had to make a mad dash to the hardware store for bolts as they absolutely refused to accept the locking wire ties on the crates.

Apparently this has been their policy since January, but yesterday was the first either I or the Dillingham musher had heard of it.
