Aliy has had it too... I have had bloody poop in some young dogs but no

Hey all,
Just got back from a visit to the vet's office and she asked me to post 
a message to the lists regarding a cough that some of our dogs are 
exhibiting.

It appears to be highly contagious, but she doesn't think it's kennel 
cough, at least not the "normal" strain of it!

Not every dog gets it. The ones that were coughing a few days ago are 
sounding better, but some other dogs are just getting into it and I've 
got a couple of foster dogs that are honking like geese right now.

Anyway, my vet, Dr. Jeanne Olson at Raven Veterinary Service, wanted me 
to ask around and see if anybody else is experiencing this. Thus far we 
have three kennels that have trained together that have a few coughing 
dogs. One dog had it worse than others with an elevated temperature and 
the lungs filled up some. He's on antibiotics.

Some of these dogs were vaccinated for kennel cough, but it seems this 
strain isn't hindered by that! Has anybody else seen or heard anything?
