Perhaps you've heard about the proposed Doyon/USFWS land exchange. The
lands eyed for oil and gas development are immediately north and east of
and share a common boundary with the White Mountains National Recreation
area, and a preferred access route for road and pipeline is through the
Whites. Two meetings are coming up, if you use or care about the White
Mountains NRA please try to attend these informational meetings. *

*Yukon Flats Land Trade map showing land swap areas and proposed road
and pipeline routes along Beaver Creek National Wild River, White
Mountains National Recreation, is available in pdf from the NAEC website.
