This is to let folks know who are on my email list that my email address was compromised...so ACS put a hold on it and had us "scrub" our computer. They said that if anyone received any type of Spam from my email address, that it was a hacker. It wasn't me, I promise!! Scary, as I have a very stringent antivirus/spam/hacker program. Luckily it doesn't appear to be malicious, but Tech Support at ACS said that it was some sort of virus or keylogger that the antivirus systems didn't catch, as even the best ones can be circumvented until they get updated.

Be careful, as we thought we were safe. ACS said that anyone who gets emails from me should use http://housecall.trendmicro.com to "check" your computer...it caught things that Symantec and McAfee didn't catch. Please pass on the word, and I'll be sending out emails to let folks know, as well. Using Housecall just makes sense...it's free and is a very up to date scan. I plan on using it regularly now.

Creepy how technology is seeming to cause more and more problems.
