where do you get your DVDs
I'm curious to know where our burners are getting their DVDs? What brand do you prefer? How much do you pay? I'm getting ready to buy a bunch more and was hoping to perhaps get some ideas. Also, I just noticed that most of our mailers seem to be in the same general area. I am in Davenport Iowa, and many of you seem to be living in various parts of IL. Perhaps we can all get together for lunch sometime. :) Of course you folks from Europe are certainly invited as well. Thanks all for your hard work! I found a number of DVD-R packs on the clearance table at Office Depot. They are Verbatim brand. For CD-Rs, I don't think you can beat the prices at Sam's Club (a spindle of 100 for $19.88). As to lunch, that sounds like a great idea for the spring. John Hagerson
I usually get mine from www.shop4tech.com. I usually get the Ritek G04 DVD-Rs (which I believe are about $0.37 per DVD. The G04 DVD-Rs are fairly good quality, I have yet to run into a bad one, and I've gone through about 500 of them. -brandon Aaron Cannon wrote:

Thanks for the info guys. I'll place an order tomorrow. Perhaps we can plan some sort of get together for next March or so. I'll work out the details when the date gets a little closer. Thanks again. sincerely Aaron Cannon At 08:03 PM 11/28/2004, you wrote:

Like Brandon, I have also been purchasing media from shop4tech.com. The last set was a cheaper set of DVDs, a little under 30 cents each, but I have made a couple of coasters already, so perhaps next time I will try the Ritek G04 DVD-Rs that Brandon recommends. Shop4Tech also has good prices on CD-Rs, and I haven't yet made coasters out of any of them. Also, they have cheap CD/DVD sleeves, which come in handy for PG mailing. - Scott Aaron Cannon wrote:

Aaron, Forgot to include this part. Anytime the rest of you guys want to get together for lunch would be cool. I'm flexible =) It'd be nice to meet everyone I've been working with. -brandon Aaron Cannon wrote:
