-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi John. I just completed work on the script for people to check the status of their own requests in the queue. You can now refer them to http://snowy.arsc.alaska.edu/cgi-bin/cdproject/dvdstatus.cgi . If their request is flagged, waiting for checkout, or checked out, it tells them how many people are ahead of them and how many discs we've been processing per week. This last number is based on the number of check ins over the last 10 weeks/10. It also divides the number ahead of them by the average per week and gives that to them as the number of weeks they should expect to wait. If someone looks up a request that has been already mailed, it tells them that and tells them not to contact us about it until 30 days after it was sent. Of course, I was a little more tactful than that, but that's the idea. Feel free to check it out and let me know if you see things that need tweaked or changed.
