Hi,
Could you pass this information along to someone who can help?
I deal with submissions for DVD requests by mail to foreign
countries. I have not been able to log into this site for about a
week and a half.

There is a message to contact Aaron Cannon, but he has said he had
surgery. Is there anyone else who is healthy enough to address this
problem? I've got 400 DVDs ready to go, but no place to mail them.
Thanks for listening,

i've posted the archive files, and let greg know.
(i did not post the subscriber list, and will not.)
if anyone else wants a copy, backchannel me,
and if your e-mail address was a subscriber,
i'll be happy to let you know the web address.

um, i have the archives, back to the beginning of this incarnation of
gutvol-d.
i also have subscriber lists at some points in time that are later than
"late 2006".
and i've observed that subscribers to this listserve are _extremely_
consistent...
even back in the flamethrowing days, there was very little churn in
subscribers.

Newsletter readers might not all have heard of the recent passing of
David Reed, a longtime PG contributor. (I think some or all of you
got the email from his son.) I've written an article recalling
his work for Gutenberg at
