A backlink from where? And
why? I think we should use links
only where they are explicit or at least
loudly implicit in
the original work.
I do understand this one. If I can click the index number in the text to
take me to the index entry, I then want to click something on the index entry
that will take me back to the same place in the text. Ditto footnotes and
endnotes, which I now do by inserting them at the end of the appropriate
paragraph and double-indenting them.
