no wonder jim is frustrated...
Well, I have many reasons to be frustrated, but let me review the reasons why I am frustrated with PG: PG makes big noises about wanting accuracy in the work that gets submitted, but accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of the works already submitted. PG claims to use the WW'ers to ensure that PG works are submitted with reasonable integrity, but then uses the same to make sure existing PG works don't get fixed. PG claims to support epub and mobi, but after many years the most basic problems in these file format conversions have yet to get fixed. And finally, like most non-profits, the fundamental frustration with PG is that it is virtually impossible to get even the smallest step forward, while the world outside PG changes at a much faster pace, eventually leaving PG behind.
