You could consider processing it at dp-canada or dp-int--both are UTF-8 enabled.
I have two problems with that. One, I'm not sure all the symbols are in Unicode. Two, just making Unicode available doesn't overcome the problems that these characters are not on any physical keyboards and only the most esoteric software keyboards.
