From the last newsletter, I think this is the most telling stat:

At that rate, I don't see how we could be keeping up with Moore's Law. We did pretty good from 2001 to 2003, but we've started to plateau, if not slide back a bit. I'm sure we will see much more growth, but at a steady Moore's Law curve, I'm not so sure.
