i'd have to see the scans to know if that's true or not.

the .html was created by epubmaker, and yes, it's a disaster.

where is a scan-set for this book?

i can show you, but it'll have to wait until next week.

by clicking a button.

the same button that the "proofers" clicked,
when they were cleaning it up, to check it,
and ensure it displayed the way they wanted.

however...

it is important to note that this is _not_ the way
to "test" this kind of thing.  instead, you need to
prepare a test-suite containing all the elements
that are important, so as to test 'em all at once...

but first you need to _decide_ on those elements.

again, you guys are about 8 years behind on this.
so you will need to move a bit faster to catch up...
