I hate to say this, but I doubt very much this survey isvery representative.

What faculties? How where they chosen?
Howmany did not respond?
Where there respondent that did not have an e-reader?
Did any have more than one?
These figures do not feel realistic!

i think the world has now pretty much figured out that
the kindle "versus" the ipad is apple "versus" orange --
both can survive and thrive, each off in their own niche.
but the _size_ of the niches is still an interesting topic,
especially as we move along the present into the future.
so here's an interesting set of charts:

in the "e-reader/tablet" sphere, the piechart says that
48% of college students brought a kindle to school and
48% brought an ipad. (the other 4% had a sony reader.)
so it looks like, at this point in time, for college students,
the ipad and the kindle have reached some form of parity.
