alice is one of the most-frequently-used e-texts for e-book demos. maybe _the_ most. i worked up a z.m.l. version a while back. perhaps you'd like to create a version, too, in whatever format you like (openreader?), and we can do some real-world user testing? the proof _is_ in the pudding, don't you know... -bowerbird
