The other three collections are editions of works that were public domain at the time of the edition (eg `Best Known Works: Defoe').
Other than any new material, arguably editorial changes, arguably (or certainly, in some jurisdictions) typographical arrangement, copyright would subsist in the compilation alone of a "Best Known Works" type dealie.
