oh, by the way, now that we're _adults_ and all of that, i can
tell you that there were a few bugs in some of my routines...
bad bugs, bugs which caused some data (i.e., text) to be lost.

i left them in, because i was curious to see if anyone noticed.

evidently, nobody paid enough attention to notice.  oh well...

at least now you know...
