you're talking about this in a general "theoretical" sense,
which allows you to be extremely vague and nonspecific.

on my side, i have actual code that i have already written,
which runs and does the job well and uses few resources.

so, you know, nothing here is "broken", so i don't need to
"fix" it, even if i thought you had "the cure", which i don't.

i was communicating something important to roger, and
i trust that he understands it, or will ask me if he doesn't.
