I'm not convinced that he was ever truly ignored. He always got a response eventually. Even if it doesn't make him go away, it might make it easier to justify forcing him away if he is just shouting into the ether and receiving no acknowledgment.
Last time he "went" he was put on moderation. That helped. So I guess that's what we'll have to do now.
