i think you misunderstand. this exercise is a _competition_ between you and me, jim, .html versus .zml as master-format. not just me jumping through your hoops. so yes, we'll go through all the formats, and you can generate them in whatever order you like, but the one i want to see first up is your html-to-pdf conversion...

and preferably not on a book which is in your own words “dead simple.”
