Though it is impolite to answer a question directed at another and I can not
speak for Micheal, I can say how I interpreted his cite.
I believe he was not intending on saying that you were talking in code.
I believe it was to be a reference to time. In other words to time and when things will
finally, be ready! (The repair of the Enterprise so that the stranded can be beamed up)
Of course I could be wrong.

the internet informs me that, in this scene in the movie,
spock speaks in code (so "days" actually means "hours")
to mislead an enemy who is listening in on the dialog...
i'm not speaking in code, nor am i misleading anyone,
so i cannot say that i understand the meaning here...
