
You're the one whose design requires dealing in whole-book-sized units of work. It's much more reasonable from a number of perspectives to work at a page level or a chapter level or a paragraph level, all of which I can do. Part of the difficulty PG has with ebooks is that PG has no conceptual mechanism for dealing with chapters. And I haven't heard you propose that you are adding one. Wordpress doesn't scale.
It may be good at editing news-article-sized bits but it will fall down when editing book-sized bits. Alone the time required to upload 1MB from your browser's editor ...
