
Actually, due to a previous programmer removing inactive usernames from the database the count is much higher...37,437 at the moment. The way to figure out the correct number is to go to the forums and at the bottom of the main page and hover over the "The newest registered user is" link and look for the &u=(some number). That number will be the 'correct' number of users. Apparently their code for the "We have 36001 registered users" line actually counts lines in the user table versus looking at the highest userid number in use. Thanks though!
