i recently rewrapped the p.g. version of "pride and prejudice" to the linebreaks from a scan-set of that book on archive.org.

this allowed me to easily compare the o.c.r. from the scan-set to the p.g. e-text. that comparison confirms that the two texts are from different _editions_ of the book, as carlo had indicated.
_Pride and Prejudice_ was part of the "Harvard Classics" collection, and is so indicated by the Gutenberg Bibrec (which I would still like to see copied to readingroo.ms). I would suggest you re-run your experiment against http://www.archive.org/details/harvardclassicss03elio or http://books.google.com/books?id=7dgNAAAAYAAJ.
