As a point of reference I just looked up the official W3C documentation on one particular HTML feature -- a page which happened to have a page counter on it: 1300 people had looked up the same piece of documentation -- for HTML, something that probably has literally billions of people using it? Not saying HTML is great stuff, just saying having a critical mass of users is critically important, especially when it comes to documentation.
