For me it is worse than that: previously, perhaps falsely, I thought I knew what PG is about and what "the rules of the game" are. Now I no longer believe I know what PG is about, nor do I know what "the rules of the game" are. It takes a real leap of faith on my part to continue to produce books when I don't know what is going to happen to them, or why.
