and combine the split-up e-texts,
you'll find there are ~30,000 books
in the project gutenberg library now.
with a light-markup master-source
making auxiliary formats on-demand,
storage needs would be less than now,
as would be the costs of maintenance.
and user-satisfaction would skyrocket.
