that's a great suggestion, don. except maybe for the fact that there _are_ no users, and there is little evidence to believe that there ever _will_ be any users... again, roger built a nice machine, but couldn't get volunteers for it... and he's a dale-carniege person. while none of you other guys have enough charisma to fill a thimble.
And in that direction I think automating the build process to be more dependency-sensitive might pay off more in the short run. Maybe it's there and I don't know it, but I haven't heard much of that flavor to the discussion so far.
i've already accomplished the objective. but nobody seems to want to hear that... -bowerbird
