as it was shown, yes.  but that wouldn't have to be the case.

there's nothing inherent about that.

z.m.l. can italicize just part of a word.

and i did indeed do precisely that, several times in this book.

the problem in doing that, however, is that it looks like crap.
the typography in a browser doesn't handle that very nicely...

anyway, back to the world series...
