The betty lee fun parade

Hello again, BB: 1. Adding HTML to your site: You took me out of context: of course I meant _my_ html! Better yet: yours and mine together for others to comment. 2. Hyphens: I maintain that hyphens not introduced by the author _are_ spurious, but we quibble. I had not twigged to your use of the hyphen-tilde. Not a bad idea, but it still requires human judgement when the OCR text is being joined up. I intend to use it in future. 3. Table of contents is skimpy: This comes down to what are often one-off judgements about presentation. The style that I used was for brief chapter headings with associated subheadings Only the headings are included in the table of contents. This is the approach to use for very long headings such is in the Dickens novels, where it would be very messy to include long strings in the table of contents. The syntax here is: ..Chapter IV=This is the subcontent string... The alternative is: ..Chapter IV. This is the content string... Of course, to convert from one style to the other is nothing more than replacing the '=' with '. ' or vice-versa. 4. "if you'd consider it an honor, or something, but i'll assure you that it's really not.": Honor, honour or just plain courtesy, call it what you will--but it _may_ be of interest or value to others? And _I_ would appreciate the courtesy! I have uploaded betlepythonB.html to illustrate the new headings. Ever a pleasure interacting with you, BB. And I would appreciate criticism from others. John
