Re: [gutvol-d] Need help finding a "free" font for Greek letters

The gentium font already installed at pglaf.org covers basic greek. It contains alpha thru omega and ALPHA thru OMEGA.
Are you sure? I'm getting this on the PDF conversion: No installed font contains these characters. They will not display in the pdf. GREEK SMALL LETTER ALPHA there is a line for all the greek I used, alpha, beta, gamma, delta, kappa, my, pi, rho, sigma (all small case). It also chokes on the PRIME and INFINITY characters, but I kind of expected that. And sure enough, in the resulting PDF, those characters are black squares. Josh

Try now. Greek works. I had to upgrade the tetex installation. But still no prime. I'll look for a font ... -- Marcello Perathoner webmaster@gutenberg.org
