if users want something, i'll provide it, even if i _cannot_ see the utility of it... but perhaps _you_ can explain to me the utility of showing page-numbers and nothing else? because, for the _life_ of me, it escapes me right now. i've only thought about it for 5 minutes, and maybe something will come to me just as soon as i hit "send" on this, but... -bowerbird
