when you have worked your way up to it, i suggest you do the test-suite i created. when you can mark _that_ up in a way that makes everyone here happy, you'll have gone a long way towards meeting jim's criteria... and when you can convert it to all formats, you will have gone _all_ the way... (of course, that still won't get the e-texts actually marked up, but that's minor, right?) -bowerbird
