right. so you're using another program to do the flipping. that was one of the options i mentioned. :+)

and with the 'Detect image orientation (during recognition)' option selected, everything comes out right-side-up.

cool. :+) i think you would think more highly of the scanner if you coupled it with version 7 of abbyy finereader. a chain is only as strong as its weakest link... -bowerbird
