The Memorials of the Hamlet of Knightsbridge, by Henry George Davis 45695 [Editor: Charles Davis] [Subtitle: with Notices of its Immediate Neighbourhood] [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/4/5/6/9/45695 ] [Files: 45695-0.txt; 45695-h.htm] For those wishing to know: written in the first half of the 1800's, before the major development of the London "West End", it's a local book about what was then a hamlet, and today is best known as the site of Harrods.
