Chelsea, by George Bryan 45854 [Subtitle: In the Olden & Present Times] [Link: http://www.gutenberg.org/4/5/8/5/45854 ] [Files: 45854-0.txt; 45854-h.htm] For those wishing to know George Bryan worked as a printer in Chelsea, and wanted a local history. Although not feeling qualified to write one, the only existing one (Faulker, c1820) was getting out of date and so he made this attempt. It's actually rather good as Bryan knew a lost about his native place, and this brings the history upto 1869. Obviously a lot has changed since then. All the best, David, Sunny England, blue skies
